A dark brown stout with a nice, pale foam. Roasted taste with a long bitter aftertaste. Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 9, 2012
Aroma has herbs, sweet spicy chocolate, bit tar. Eben black, thin expresso head. Taste has tar, hebrs, chocolate, roasted dry, coffee also, light and soft, low carbonation. "Shaped like a beautiful cuban woman"...well yeah..maybe..at least I liked this quite much. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - NOV 28, 2004
Sampled from draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2004 (#17).Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 25, 2006
Pitch black with a creamy light tan head. Beautiful! Aroma and flavor is a lot like Nynäshamns Sotholmen Extra Stout, just slightly lighter. Grassy, malty and dusty aroma. Dry, hoppy, flowery and roasted malty flavor. Creamy mouthfull with milky notes. Really nice and tasty specially considering the very low ABV!
Black colored, big beige head. Smoky, sweet, creamy aroma. Medium bodied. Roasted, smoky, mildly sweet and junipery flavor, ending is dry with some hops. Roastiness lasts in aftertaste. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 11, 2006
Good-looking, opaque black shade, offering a large, lasting, perfect light tan head of quality lacing. Generously roasty nose procures a rather smokey profile. Char wood, burning tobacco and light fruits (grapes) make for most of the taste development, but the smoke seems integrated and inherent to it all, adding a whisper of originality to an otherwise apparently BJCP-aimed brew. Limited acidity despite potentially american hops. A potential standard-bearer dry stout, hitting right on in every aspect and finishing strong and with roastiness at length despite natural watery edges in the light-medium mouthfeel of soft and gentle carbonation. Perfect execution.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arm, Järntorget, Gothenburg, 1 Aug 2007) Pitch black colour with brief brown head. Roasted nose with tobacco, chocolate and black coffee. Roasted taste with notes of tobacco, liquorice and black bitter coffee. A bit like unsweetened, black, cold coffee. Dry, rather thin body. Very nice one, but some more backbone wouldn’t hurt. cgarvieuk (24462) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2007

Bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden. Nice black colour with a thick foam. Taste is very rich and rewarding, sweet and a slight bitterness in the finish. laiti (8468) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2011
50 cl bottle (4.0%). Rated on 29.11.2008
Aroma has roasted malt and hints of tar and rye. Flavour is roasty too, with some coffee. A bit thin palate because of 4%, but still good.
