On tap at Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, February 2013. (labeled as Stegholmen Svart IPA)
Dark brownish/red with a small tan head. This was a soft Black IPA with notes of roasted malt, malt, caramel and some light notes of "rubber". Also some hops. Easy to drink and not that bitter. Descent with licorice in the aftertaste.

Bottle at HaandFestival 2012.
Liquorice, coffee. Soft and rounded, herbal tail.
Sample at ÖÖWF 2012. Mostly hops on the nose but also a light roasted note. Nice balance between hops and dark malts. It also wasn’t to bitter which could be a problem when you had the roasted bitterness with the hop bitterness. Easy to drink despite allot of flavour, I wanted more after my sample which is an indication of a good beer. Pyrmir (6094) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
Draught at ÖÖWF 2012. Nose flowery hops, grassy notes. Tastes sweet, burnt sugar and green tea (!). oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 31, 2012

More or less black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown foamy head that leaves good lace. Aroma is citrus, grass, some mild herbs, liquorice, gingerbread and mild ashy and roasted notes as well. Flavour is more or less the same in a rather nice balance. Rather bittery ashy finish.
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2012 On tap at Ölkompaniet GBG.
Pours a very dark brown with a nice beige head. Expect more Hops for this kind of beer but allaround a nice beer. finol (3389) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2012

Draught at Akkurat. Pours black with big ashy tan head - plenty of lacing throughout. Aroma is pine, citrus, tangerine, smoke, roasted malt, dark chocolate, slight herb. Taste is a great balance of roasted malt flavours and pine/citrus hop notes. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Nice smokey aftertaste as well as the residual citric hop bitterness. Tasty stuff, enjoying getting to know this style of beer a bit better. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2012
