Draught (Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm) - Dark gold/amber in colour. Pine, grapefruit, toffee and peach in the aroma. Hoppy taste with notes of peach, tangy grapefruit, spicy malt and pine. The bitterness is evident, yet nicely balanced. Really tasty. olsvammel (7313) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2010
Draught at Akkurat. It poured a clear golden liquid with a small white head. Smell of hops, grass, pinecones, flowers and freshly cut grass. Taste was similar, very fresh and plenty of hops. the mouthfeel was medium smooth with a medium thick body and medium amount of carbonation. Decent mouthfeel overall. Nice summer beer that packs enough hops to work in the hot wheater. Probably great with BBQ food. It smelled better then it tasted though. larsniclas (7297) - Billdal, SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2011
Draught at The Rover
Slaightly hazy golden. Small, wite head.
Sweet and creamy aroma.
Sweet, flowery and creamy flavour. A bit stale and vapid; a bit too sweet.

: Much softer, orangy hoppier than before. Chewy toffee, drying finish
Copper colour. Some bisquity caramels, light herbal/earthy hops, pines on nose. Medium bodied, bitter, robust. Pretty flavourful, good tasting, but a bit hard hopped. Long piny finish.
Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, Swden. Shady deep golden, medium white head. Perfumy and citric hop aroma., without the usual Nynäs house character. Dry with medium bitterness. Very nice aummer stuff. Singularity (6369) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2013

In short: A very floral (flower petals) well balanced golden pale ale. Very clean and refreshing.djoeye (5414) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2016
How: Tap at Black & Brown, Stockholm.
The look: Clear light golden body topped by a persistent small beige head leaving lots of lacigns on the glass.
In long: Nose is very floral hops, this is flowery to the point of being borderline girly, but a sensitive man like me can appreciate a flower bouquet when it comes from a beer. Taste starts with typical clean honeyed cereals with a touch of caramel, a mild sweetness sensation, then the floral hops bring a nice refreshing flowery bitterness of medium intensity with light resinous undertones. Don’t need to speak much Swedish to understand that “Sommar Ale” translates to “Summer Ale” and in that regards it is a success, I had it on a very sunny hot day sitting on a Stockholm pub patio and it was indeed a nice summer ale. Another good Swedish beer I had on tap on location, but Sweden is a very strange country, the public bathrooms are on the sidewalks, the toilet paper is like a book, people can see you doing your thing because the walls are see-through windows and also there is a phone.
Fawn to off white head and golden body. Aroma; leafy hops, resin syrup, peach peels. Taste; hops, leafy hops, malts, syrup, roasted malts, more peels, grapefruit-caramel syrup notes - finishing slowly. Solid body and solid brew.
