On tap at Ölrepubliken 6 Mars. Poured a cloudy deep orange with a light cream colored head. Scent of floral hops with some orange peel and lemongrass. Smallish thick offwhite head. Clear brown body. Light floral honeyish aroma with resiny vanilla notes. Faintly perfumy. Bitter-sweet resiny orange peel taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Clear copper color, off-white head. Mango, hoppy scent. Hoppy, bitter, citrus, phenolic taste. Phenolic aftertaste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
The yeast house flavor of the brewery comes through very evident in this one, not much too my liking, would be much better with less phenoles.
tap @ Ölrepubliken. Pours clear dark amber with a small iff white head leaving lace. Aroma is slightly smokey, malty, a bit sweet, fruity and hoppy. Flavor is fruity, pungent, phenolic, bitter, caramel, fruity, apples, well malty and smokey. Finishes longlived bitter.
