50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Brewed 25.01.2012, BBE 25.07.2013
Aroma is roasted with chocolate, coffee and hints of vanilla. Flavour has very well roasted – almost burned – malt, some bitter coffee and very dark chocolate. Quite rich for this ABV.
Brown color, muddy, yellowish head. Caramel aroma, honey-cake, yeast, wine, prunes, chocolate, sweets, spices and a little bread. Taste: sweet, caramel, honey-cake, plum, a little jam, velvety, sparkling. stouby (4669) - Holbæk, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2016
Bottle at the brewery. Dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, roasted, dark fruit, raisins, chocolate). flavor medium+ sweet, fruity, a bit unpleasant with the syrup, not in balance. Medium body. MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2016
Bottle, 5.9% at KØ16. Caramelly aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour is vinous and bready. Not so bitter but nice and pleasant. Berry aftertaste. FatPhil (16355) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 9, 2016

Deep brown, large tight tan head. Rich soyey aroma, raisins too. Pleasant sweet bready taste. Very easy drinker, very god brown ale. Nice toffee aspects, some more soy and roast in the finish. Sweetish, but full and has nice bittering hops. Nice one.
Bottle. Nice and fruity. But more like a stout than a brown ale. A sweet stout. With a bitter aftertaste.

En fin smag af karamel. Der er dog også en del smag af gæren, men det skyldes nok at det er en håndbrygget øl. Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - SEP 18, 2015

Small head. Dark brown. Caramel. Roasted toffee cookie. Sharp. Dry. Nice.
Great beautiful compact foam. Aroma is light chocolate and nuts. The flavor is hazelnut, light chocolate and a gentle hoppy bitterness, where the malt is the main theme. I am not in favor of brown ale, so my assessment is cautioned. Reasonably good brown ale. bursprak (3219) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2015
Bottle split two ways. Clear brownish pour with a generous tan head. Some vanilla, light coffee, grains, malty sweetness. Ok stuff! kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 23, 2014
The head is nice, body brown hazelnut. It smells darkmalty, bit cookie. The taste is darkmalty, bit creamy, light roasty. Medium
