Bottled, from Jacob Lake, AZ. Clear amber, small head. Winegum aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body. Light caramel, some salt and strawberry. Fairly low bitterness. yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden to light amber in color, clear, with a small creamy off-white head. Biscuits, caramel, toffee notes and a fruity touch in the aroma. Quite thin on the palate, soft and dry, with a little bitterness in the flavor. Caramel and a malty touch too. Short finish. Not bad in any way this one, except it’s boring. 130818 Ratman197 (14978) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 31, 2006
Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, nuts and just a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of malt, carmel, toffee and a hint of honey with a smooth bittersweet finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 24, 2003
(draft) Clear medium copper body, minimal head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, malty. Taste is mild -- some caramel, but generally bland maltiness. No hoppiness to speak of. Palate is soft and smooth. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 1, 2005

Bottle. Pours a hazy ruby hued amber with a hefty off white head. Cardboard, paper, and grain right up front, some vague hints of hops. Tons of carbonation, sweet malt, more cardboard and grain flavors. Finishes up with a lingering light bitterness but more paper flavors. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 28, 2007
12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Muted aromas of caramel and citrus. I had to breath in real deep to get those. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and a splash of roastiness. Thinner body. jcwattsrugger (12471) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 11, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2011 12 oz bottle-pours an off white head and hazy gold/orange color. Aroma is herbal, funky fruit. Taste is funky fruit-apricot, osme herbal, light/medium malt-caramel. Not sure what the objective was but… Thanks decaturstevo for sharing. 110302-on tap, still about the same bottom line slowrunner77 (12162) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2014
"another non-offensive but very simplistic brew from Oak Creek. I enjoyed it more than several other beers I’ve rated right around, but it’s just too simple (like a carmel malt kit) to score average or better. really no hops to speak of, maybe even less than the brown. Semi-sweet malt flavor is a little muddled. Again, not a bad beer, but like something one would make with a kit."
