On tap at the brew pub in Tlaqapaque. Pours a golden Pils color with decent head. Nuttiness and Pils malt dominate the aroma. Taste has a nice lightly toasted nut character. Light, refreshing, and well-crafted for the style. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2011

Tap as part of seven dwarves flight. Pours golden with fluffy white head. Not much aromas to speak of. Tastes of hay, regular grass, citrus, vanilla, and hops. Pretty boring gold lager billed as 49er on menu fyi OhioDad (2492) - Hilliard, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2006
12oz bottle pours golden with a short white head that stays pretty well and laces a little. Aromas of lemon, and light grains. This does seem more like a helles to me than a pale lager as it definitely had more sweet honey flavor blended with some lemon. Airy and somewhat light on the palate. Crisp and clean and pretty drinkable on a hot summer day. I don’t believe that this one should be listed as a pale lager. Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pits golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruitiness, some herbal notes and grains. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some malt, herbal notes and bread. Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours a golden color with a medium sided white head. Aroma is corn, malt, water. Flavor is much the same. Light and refreshing and well crafted for a pale lager. scarletfire65 (1466) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Tasted at Brewery. Very clean, light citrus, lightly hopped, crisp finish. Tastes like a home brew. A decent pale lager.
