On tap at the Oak Creek Brewery & Grill in Sedona.
Pour was reddish amber, very clear, with a remarkably durable, creamy, tan head. The head has a bit of red too. Glass is coated even 30 minutes after pouring. Simply great looking beer!
Aroma: smells like aN IPA, although a tiny bit more malty than average.
Taste follows: clearly an Imperial Red, this is strongly flavored with a huge hop component and moderate-high bitterness. Given that, good balance.
Medium-full body with a touch of higher ABV harshness. Lightly dry finish.
O: a very bold and hoppy red that is more like an IPA than an amber/red. MadDogMD (215) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 8, 2012
On tap at OHSO. Decent balance of caramely/ sweet malts & piney/ bitter hops. Pretty fresh tasting hop profile, which I enjoyed. OK overall, but a bit forgettable. gnoff (10528) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2012
