can. enjoyed. sweet for the style but put together well. aroma is sweet malt, banana. color is watered down bourbon. nice palate. taste is sweet, carbonation, good thickness, light spice on the end. good in the summer; I imagine great for the fall - will have again

Slightly hazy deep amber with thick head that disappeared completely after a little while. Yep it has the smell of banana and clove just as advertised. Taste is banana, caramel, and spice. Decent taste but slightly flat feeling. Carbonation issues was probably due to being in a CAN.

I like this dunkel but beware that the 7.1 alc is hidden behind the body and light sweetness of this beer. A touch heavy for a 90 degree day in muggy Maryland but 2 months earlier and this would be great! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Dark copper-brown, quick beige head. Caramel, cola, light banana aroma. Caramel malt, slightly tangy dark bread flavour.....a bit of clove and banana..... Falls a little flat, overall.

Can. Banana, clove, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Medium brown with small head. Moderately sweet banana, clove, light toffee malt, and hay flavor. Light body. Okay - smelled very nice but didn’t come through in the flavor.

Pours a cloudy/hazy coppery reddish brown color with dark ivory colored head. Sweet malts, caramel, banana, clove, spice, and wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes sweeter than expected.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong clove, yeast, banana. Medium body, banana, clove, bready malt, light finish, good.

(Fraught at brewery) cloudy medium brown, fine ran bubbles. Nose is sweet, dark fruit, traditional dunkel, wheat, pear, light brown sugar. Taste of raisin, wheat, brown sugar, on the sweeter side for the style but I like it, dates, nice beer. Medium carb and sweet malty linger.

sampled over at the dallas gingerman .. . pours a cloudy brown .. good foam, lacing .. . sea gherkins .. . clove, bruised banana, cereal, Starts off nice but turns metallic on the finish .. not very good .. . . Oh and you owe me a new Michelin, you motherfucker.

12 oz can poured into snifter: iced tea color with an inch of tan, quickly dissipating foam that leaves no lace. Aromas of syrupy banana and some spice; The flavor is pretty much the same, sweet dark fruit with gentle roastyness and a quick spicy bite. The alcohol is well hidden. Just on the thinner side of full bodied, it finishes sweet with slight bitterness. Very delicious.
