Got it because it was the last remaining Christmassy looking beer at the store that I hadn’t tried yet. It has a bit of a too sweet, almost medicinal taste to it. Kind of a thick sticky texture to it as well. It’ll warm you up though.
Starts with some spice and then is very lemony in the middle with a little too sweet finish. Kinda weird and yet fairly decent....I’ll have another to figure this thing out! b3shine (8802) - Indiana, USA - FEB 17, 2014
Draft to taster. Abv is listed as 9.7%. Looks decent; a completely transparent light gold with white lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, clove, and mild banana. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel that’s fairly thin on the palate, but not aversively so. A solid, easy-drinking example of the style. benpickens (505) - Camarillo, California, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Clear with a light and frothy head that diminishes quickly; bananas and mangos on the nose. Fruity and pleasant. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 12, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of apple and Belgian yeast. Taste is citrus and yeast - pretty good. Thanks Folty!

Pours a hazy, soda-like brown/yellow, non existent head, yet starts off feeling carbonated, lots of floaties....Nose is citrus, very strong at first. Taste is sharp and sweet, almost tart, alcohol is noticeable, more harsh orange notes.....wait, There it is! Reminds me of a weak screwdriver! My first try at this type, so I won’t yet dismiss it out of hand. Not bad, tastewise. ryanfolty (2539) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JAN 25, 2012
Date: January 25, 2012 Mode: Bottle Source: misterbeer Description: Semi-opaque hazy yellow pour with minimal head. Aroma is yeast, citrus and spice. Taste is similar to aroma, finish was a sweet lemony zest. Thanks David! FunkyBrewster (1518) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 23, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with a lot of honey and grain with some spice and light citric, very sweet though. Flavor is overly sweet losing some of the citrus, yeast and apixinesa that makes triples so good. Tastes under attenuated, lots of residual sugars. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not a great trippel rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Cloudy golden orange with a small head and no lace. Taste is a warm sweet caramel with a light bittering halfway through that disappears before the finish. Agreeable enough, but not memorable. Block (2688) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JAN 30, 2011
Hazy yellow pour with particulates floating throughout. Light fruity aroma of orange and lemon and of course the yeast. Overall worth a try.
