12 ounce bottle from Crown Liquors #19 in Carmel, IN. Pours a clear red color with a medium fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toffee, earthy and nutty notes. Faint hop finish. The taste is toffee, bitter hops, earthy notes and a bit of nuttiness. Medium bodied.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 02/09/2012. Clear dark amber pour with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and hops. UPDATED: MAR 22, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with atpayne (thanks!). Poured a deep orange color, slightly hazy, and a small sized off white head. Faint aromas of caramel, citrus, wet hop leaves, and an all around maltiness. Tastes of caramel, oranges, and some citrus. 12 oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and hazy amber/orange color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, some pine, nutty. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, balanced with secondary some pine hops, slight bite, nutty. OK carbonation.
