Growler courtesy of StFun. Bright copper color, some stark white foam, very nice lacing. Assertive hop aroma, grapefruit rind, touch of butterscotch and caramel, green and almost garlicky. Firm bitterness, very nice malt balance, very clean.

On tap at the Oaken Barrel brewpub south of Indianapolis. Nice IPA, plenty of hops and a higher IBU but stops short of hopping up for shock value. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Hopcat in Broad Ripple. Deep orange pour, white head. Mild citrus in the aroma. Citrus zest followed by an extremely dry finish.

Brentv (680) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 4, 2015
On tap at the brewpub in Greenwood, IN. Clear orange copper with a thin whitish head and tons of sticky lacing on the glass. Fruity citrus aroma. Grapefruit and other tropical fruits with a marked bitterness tamed with the perfect light malty sweetness. Full-bodied and delicious. I thought I would try something else next, but just ordered a second pint. Special.

Looked good on the pour, smelled wonderful. Then I was plwasantly surprised about how smooth and good tasting it was... Especially since its 7.5 abv... I believe it’s my new favorite beer!

Draft to pint. Looks solid; malty though. A transparent copper with foamy off-white head that slowly dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells of piney and bitter hops with a medium-bodied bittersweet backbone. Some mild caramel. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid, but would be much better if it were lighter and dryer.

misterbeer (313) - greenwood, Indiana, USA - AUG 14, 2014
Fresh 16 ounce from brewery. Copper pour with off white head. Taste of bitter grapefruit and sweet tropical citrus, some pine. Really bitter cotton mouth like finish.

Solid IPA that I received in a trade. Very smooth and doesn’t show that it it 7.5% ABV.

Draft @ brewery. Sweet tropical fruit and caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a moderate white head. Sweet fruity caramel malt and piney-herbal orange hops flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 30, 2014
Taster on tap at Twenty Tap. Clear orange kind of reddish color. Thin, slightly off-white head. Good ridges of lace. Nice tropical fruity red hop aroma, lightly spicy. Some caramel malt, kind of spicy. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. A sort of slick body, but more drying finish. Overall, a solid IPA, albeit being kind of maltier and sweeter. Good hop profile, despite the bigger malt and sweetness.
