Cask @ The Old Fountain. The pour’s deep gold with a tiny head. The nose is syrupy cereal sweetness, some peaches and apricot. Summery fruits. The taste is more mild grain. Honey and plenty of summery orchard fruit. Baked bread. Medium body, a bit too syrupy on the palate. Overall, not bad, though Oakham make some much better stuff than this. Gravity cask at The Old Fountain Beer Festival, October 2012. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a tight, creamy white head. Boozy aroma with tangy citrus notes. Medium to big sweet flavors, plenty of boozy citrus fruits, some heavy dough. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with more alcohol-soaked fruits, jammy citrus, orange, light leaves, some sugars. Not a subtle tipple, but still decent. downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 25, 2012
Cask-conditioned at the Cambridgeshire & Lincolnshire Beeriodical, at the Seven Stars, Bristol, August 2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet, caramel and tropical fruit aroma with a touch of floral hop and warming alcohol. Flavour was also sweet and fruity, with a full mouth feel and alcohol heavy finish. Good, but a half pint was sufficient. madmitch76 (24378) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2012

GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer. Softish palate, slightly dry and a little silky. Light hop but full on flavour. Mild grassy grapefruit. Some mandarin orange and a little pineapple. Mild minerals. Not much malt character. Quite a warming finish.
Would not get this again
It's to weak in taste for me
For a 7.5 it's not a strong as I was expecting

Cask at the NWAF, Manchester, 2012. Bright yellow/gold pour with a white head. Syrupy nose, pear drops and mango in the aroma. Honey and mango flavour with a spicy, grassy feel. Throat warmer. Long fruit filled finish. Very nice indeed. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 20, 2012
On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, oak, candy sugar and grassy hops. Similar flavours with candy sugar and alcohol both quite prominent. Just a little sweet. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK. Cask @ The Rake, London. Clear orange / golden color, no head. Smell sour and cellar. Taste lightly bitter, tones of sweetness and fruit. Average carbo, low to medium body. Decent. tommann (3714) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2011
Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is piney hops and alcohol. Taste starts with sticky pine needles. Piney hops and orange in the medium bitter finish. Full and sticky in the mouth. berkshirejohn (6451) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2011
Cask at Our Mutual Friend, Stevenage. Straw with a thin cream head; sweet and grainy aroma; smooth oily texture, swet and grainy flavour with a hint of tropical fruit; the finish is dry with some quinine bitterness and warming, spicy, alcohol. More of a Barley Wine in my opinion.
