Hand pulled at the Bartons Arms, Birmingham. Golden beer, with a very loose froth head. Looked and smelt like a Golden. In fact, it tasted much like a Golden too, but a good one, with a nettley, crushing bitterness to finish. Never clocked this as a Barley, never even clocked it as being 7.5%. Enjoyed it though - cut through the spiciness of my accompanying Thai meal a treat. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2009
Cask, gravity, at St Neots BF ’09 (’Booze on the Ouse’). Gold. Aroma of Corona lemonade, but taste is thicker, oilier. Brimming with citrus. A little bitterness. Immensely, treacherously drinkable. tommann (3746) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2011
Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is piney hops and alcohol. Taste starts with sticky pine needles. Piney hops and orange in the medium bitter finish. Full and sticky in the mouth. evergreen0199 (3365) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2009

Cask @ St Albans Beer Festival, 2013. Bright deep golden yellow. Classic IPA aroma, with fruity bitter hop invading the nose. Sweeter than I expected but none the worse for it. Sneaky little bitter finish. Buttery creamy mouthfeel. Brilliant beer but it drinks like a session bitter! Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 20, 2012
On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, oak, candy sugar and grassy hops. Similar flavours with candy sugar and alcohol both quite prominent. Just a little sweet. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK. Brandman (2948) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 1, 2010
Golden body, white head. Malty aroma with fruits and peaches. Crisp flavour, some apple and citrus. Very bitter, nice malty backbone. Warming alcohol, but not in a bad way. Towey1989 (2814) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2016
Cask at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of candied fruits, lemon, elderflower, some pineapple, a little grapefruit and slight summer berries. Taste of candied fruits, summer berries, pineapple, lemon, some elderflower, subtle caramel and alcohol. Full bodied and an oily texture. A sweet, fruity bitterness in the finish. Sweet and really fruity, definitely a sipper.
