Cask at Oaka at the Masion House, Kennington - 19/03/13.
Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head.
Nose carries pale malts, fruit, sugar, citrus.
Taste comprises orange, berry fruit, light citrus, sugars, touch of booze, moderate hop presence.
Full end of medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Ok drinkable stuff but I’ve come to expect a little more from Oakham. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2014
Hand-pulled half-pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 25th Sep 2014. Pale golden body with a white crown. Fairly sweet yet citrusy feel to both the aroma and taste. Lemon and pineapple flavours combine and contradict each other while the alcohol hides in the background. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 31, 2007
On draught at The Coronet, Holloway Rd. Clear golden colour, frothy head. Fruity hop aroma. Flavours are a good blend of fruity hops and toffee malts. Raisins and apples are there, too. Nice JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 23, 2010
Cask real ale tasted at Gallows Bird RAF 2010. Mild nose. Slightly hazy pale golden colour. No head. Thin taste with some fusel. Mild hoppiness. At the end hoppy bitterness. Some sour fruits in the taste. Warming alcohol. berkshirejohn (6502) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2011
Cask at Our Mutual Friend, Stevenage. Straw with a thin cream head; sweet and grainy aroma; smooth oily texture, swet and grainy flavour with a hint of tropical fruit; the finish is dry with some quinine bitterness and warming, spicy, alcohol. More of a Barley Wine in my opinion.

Cask @ The Old Fountain. The pour’s deep gold with a tiny head. The nose is syrupy cereal sweetness, some peaches and apricot. Summery fruits. The taste is more mild grain. Honey and plenty of summery orchard fruit. Baked bread. Medium body, a bit too syrupy on the palate. Overall, not bad, though Oakham make some much better stuff than this. tiong (7305) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2013
Cask @ OlutExpo 2013johnggg (43) - middx, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2015
Pours yellow with a small head. Aroma of citrusy fruity notes, malts and spices. Taste is smooth, malty and fruity with notes of spices and citrus. Finish is smooth and sticky with some spices. A bit unbalanced.

Cask at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of candied fruits, lemon, elderflower, some pineapple, a little grapefruit and slight summer berries. Taste of candied fruits, summer berries, pineapple, lemon, some elderflower, subtle caramel and alcohol. Full bodied and an oily texture. A sweet, fruity bitterness in the finish. Sweet and really fruity, definitely a sipper. MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - JUN 12, 2008
Half pint from the brewpub: poured orange yellow with a fizzy white head. Earthy hop aroma with light candyish notes. Mild earthiness in the flavor with some citrus and a bit of sourness. Doesn’t taste like 7.2%. Smooth bitter finish. Okay.
