The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2018 500ml bottle. Straw yellow with quickly dissipating white head, a little lacing on glass. Spot on Citra pale ale; hoppy taste with grass, lemon, grapefruit and pine. Intense bitterness on the finish. Excellent light sessionable beer.

Ok, I think it wasn't on best form as we were in the middle of a heat wave here in London. Nice and juicy with a dry finish though.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2018 Lovely refreshing light beer with hoppy bitterness and grapefruit citrus. Bit of a marmalade thing going on. APA style so has the tropical flavours and malt. Really liked this one.

vinivini (3284) - Gomel, BELARUS - FEB 1, 2018
Bottle. Foggy golden. Moderate white head. The nose is a blast of lemony hops. Light body. Dry and hoppy taste. So clean. Citrus, dank, tropics. Medium bitterness. Well done.

Strange that I haven't rated this before given I've consumed gallons of it. A decent session beer. Heady citrusy smell and bitter hoppy taste. Great stuff. Better on cask if available. Excellent example being consumed at the pelt trader

The taste of summer. Light and hoppy with a fruit and citrus hit. Very easy to drink...

JPC1524 (239) - Devon, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2017
Bottle. Golden pour, decent white foamy head. Light malty aromas with citrus fruits. Flavour has good citrus hop notes with a light malt backbone. Tasty session ale.

pkbites (1014) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 23, 2017
Bottle @ Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. Average looking yellow pour with weak white head. Aroma of grain, lemon, and flowers. Slightly sour citrus flavor compliments the strong hop presence. Not bad.

kapusil (1598) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 9, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2017 0.5l bottle. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of hay, graind, lemon zest, grapeseed and a bit of blackberries. Light bodied with and the finish is quite bitter. OK beer, but really nothing special here.

Nurmis (932) - Oulu, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2017
0,33l bottle, 4.6% abv. Pours golden with white lacing. Caramel and citrus. Light body. Decent.
