COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask and bottle; Regular. 4.2% in cask. 4.6% in bottle.

The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

(bottle 10/04-2015) low white head, clear yellow color, slightly odd hoppy aroma, some bitterness, hoppy taste, some brew error just like Midtfyn for a few years ago.

Cask / Fat Cat / Colchester / £3.30 Little to no head. Strong tropical fruit aroma. The taste is refreshing, crisp & full of citrus hop flavour. A really good beer, one I’d love to have at my local year round!

gregerik (15) - Kings Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2015

Bottled. Clear, pale amber with a minimal off-white head. Citrus and pine on the nose, with a strong funk of hops. Silky smooth in the mouth; warm with a hint of fruit, then a very dry, not-too-bitter finish. Very good.

Smells very much of special herbs. Light and fruity but still solid robust malty to back it up.

thiesen (178) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2015
Draught at Frb ølbar, Cph. Gooseberry, mandarin must. Strong taste of the hops with a good backbone of malts. Crisp and dry mouthfeel and it finishes well in a combination of dry hops and bready malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really a lot of grapefruit in this one. Which is nice, as Borat would say. Aroma is for me a mixed bag: the citrus and grapefruit invite to taste, but they’re also so strong that it reminds me a bit of the smell you get from the inner rubber of your bicycle tire. However, once you taste it, it’s just rich in citrus and grapefruit, and after each sip a very good aftertaste of grapefruit. A good beer!

Keg at O’Haras, Tampere. Clear copper orange. Aroma is berries and fruity hoppiness. Taste is crispy, fruity, grapefruit, citrus. Smooth hoppy, tasty.
