The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

500ml bottle. 24-02-2015. BBD: Nov 2015.
Courtesy of David Bruce. In short: citrusy pale ale.
Pours quite clear deep gold with little white head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Citrusy, herbal and malty aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is herbal, citrusy, intended american profiled, but still a lot of distinctive british character. Enjoyable.

MrBlueSky93 (535) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2015
On tap at The Wellington, Birmingham Pours clear gold colour with a single finger white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, orange, lychee, grass. Initial taste of biscuit and caramel then we have a whack of grapefruit, grass, lemon, orange, gooseberry, lychee. A touch of Pine too. One of the best PA’s out there!

Mortlach (2535) - Rome, ITALY - FEB 15, 2015
On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Pours pale golden with a medium white foam. Aroma is peachy and lemon, citrus, fresh citra hops, some malt, very nice! Flavour is perfectly balanced, medium bitterness, malt, clean and quite dry end, drinkable. It has a lot of character! Well done!

Habanero (4946) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2015
Bottled. Pours pale golden with an average, white head. Aroma of lemon, peach, caramel and piney otes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA.

KoNrRiI (1733) - Århus, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2015
0.5 bottle. Clear, gold color and a medium, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, other citruses, subtle lychee, grass, and delicate resin. Taste is hoppy bitter with hints of sour citruses. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is medium long at best but certainly makes up for it with its nice balance and the lack of all-too-common astringency. Overall a nice beer like any Oakham but nothing unusual.

Teran (345) - Belgrade, SERBIA - FEB 12, 2015
Very clear, very white thin foam, very nice beer. Extremely hoppy, and citrus, light and bitter - simple and glorious! And so fresh! One of the best balances ever.
