The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

Bottle. Clear, golden yellow colour with a small, tiny white head. It has moderate hoppy citrusy aroma, mostly of grapefruit and also some spice and hay notes. Flavor is moderate bitter and has nice dry, bitter finish.

The taste of summer. Light and hoppy with a fruit and citrus hit. Very easy to drink...

Bottle. Golden pour, decent white foamy head. Light malty aromas with citrus fruits. Flavour has good citrus hop notes with a light malt backbone. Tasty session ale.

pkbites (1006) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 23, 2017
Bottle @ Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. Average looking yellow pour with weak white head. Aroma of grain, lemon, and flowers. Slightly sour citrus flavor compliments the strong hop presence. Not bad.

kapusil (1561) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 9, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2017 0.5l bottle. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of hay, graind, lemon zest, grapeseed and a bit of blackberries. Light bodied with and the finish is quite bitter. OK beer, but really nothing special here.

rferrey (171) - Huelva, SPAIN - OCT 9, 2017
Una APA con carácter pese a su poco alcohol. Aroma ligeramemte ahumado, sabor limon, cítricos, con un marcado amargor que perdura y con carga importante de lupulo

TheCeeMan (26) - Ilkeston, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2017 Pours golden, clear and with a brilliant white foamy head. Aroma very lively and full of fruity notes. Taste fresh and citric but not sharp. Very well hopped, strong but subtle and not overbearing. A classic in my book.

surething_ii (989) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 23, 2017

Said 4,6 % on my bottle at GBK, Oxford. Fruity aromas. Clear golden, almost no head. Very hoppy and fruity with lychee and grapefruit notes. Bitterness and sweetness are well balanced. Good beer!

3.7
Benters (137) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2017
Pours light golden, clear with average carbonation. Minimal white head which disappears quickly. Aroma of new world hops dominates, picking up grapefruit and gooseberries. Taste is dominated by the hops, slightly fruity with long, bitter finish. A good example of an American Pale Ale, light and refreshing with nice hop hit.
