Gravicask (StABF2016) (6+:4:7:4:13=3.4+)
Huge marmalade aroma. Rich orange. Very mellow sweet taste, some liquorice aspects. Tons of fruity hops. Nice bitter bite. Full smooth sweet palate. Maybe marmitey finish. An easy sipper considering the well-hidden strength.

Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Gold to amber with white head. There is a rich maltiness to this initially, sharp and just a hint metallic. The hops kick through, reasonably floral and resinous, grapefruit zestiness. Another very decent beer from Oakham.

Scopey (14000) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2015
Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a bubbly beige head. The nose is fresh, juicy, fragrant, orange squash, peach, honeysuckle, lychee, pine and a touch of varnish. The taste is pretty bitter, pine, resinous, grapefruit, blood orange, tangerine, peach, perfumed, light toffee and some chewy malt backbone with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty juicy stuff. Enjoyable, albeit not Oakhams best.
