UPDATED: SEP 12, 2011 Gravity cask at the Peterborough BF 2011. Amber/red with a lively off white head. Initially sweet but a strong multi layered, resinous hop storm quickly sends the taste buds into chaos and the end result is a pint that disappears far too easily for sensible drinking purposes at a beer festival. Another winner from Oakham. DanielBrown (4532) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2011
Hand pulled at the Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Brown/purple colour. Smells great, sweet, thick, heavy hops. Beautifully smooth, with lightly sweet hops and a big boozy finish. A real IPA this one, along the lines of a Mikkeller One Hop. Rich, full. Great stuff. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Dark toffee color. Big off-white head with rings of lacing as the beer was quaffed. Malt backbone with a huge hop aroma. Taste was slightly bitter, mostly hop flavors, and residual malt on the back. Very pleasant and would definitely seek out again. Delicious to say the least. mr_h (5847) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - OCT 18, 2012
Cask by handpump at Cloisters, Edinburgh - clear brown, thin off-white head, no bubbles, fruity and sweet malt aroma and flavour, too strong for a session beer but very easy to drink jamestulloch (4276) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 4, 2015
Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Clear amber body with a dense white cap. Excellent lacing. Aroma of plum, blackcurrant and caramel. Flavour of blood orange, tea and a tangy, hoppy finish. Big bitterness. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation prickle. Rich and hoppy. Nice.

Crown Oakham Beer Fest, Nuneaton, 09/09/11 (TEN Oakham beers on handpull). Honey amber with a firm, off white cap. Beautifully perfumed aroma of flowers, lemon zest, passion fruit and discreet green. Perfumed tropical character with mellow soft passion fruit, lemon icing and Jelly Tot notes over a robust husky base. A lick of heat and marzipan on the finish. Top stuff- bring on The Baron..
Cask handpull at White Cliffs BF 2012. Rich pale chestnut colour lasting bubbly grey head. Big rich grapefruit hop aroma. Lovely. love the hop on this. Just love the slightly sweet malt and the big hop is great bitter on finsh. lovely. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2012
Cask at Cloisters. Reddish copper, thin head. Nice soft redcurrant, juicy orange peel, pineapple, liquorice, touch of paprika. Absolutely masses of fruit, strawberry, liquorice, massively juicy. Soft bittersweet finish and the paprika spice just comes back to tickle the tongue. A tiny bit sweet, but still superb. maeib (8751) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2011
Cask conditioned Handpump The Pub Leicester. An amber coloured beer with white bubbles for a head. Insanely hoppy aroma for a British beer. A strong chinooky nose with follows through to the flavour. Sweetish malts give a lovely backbone balance. A good long finish with a touch of caramel late on. Really really tasty. cgarvieuk (25744) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2012
