Cask handpull at The Rake. For a dipa from Oakham it is exactly what you expect. Lots of grapefruit. I will admit that there us an alcohol burn on the finish that is not exactly pleasant. Syrupy resiny grapefruit and burn. Good flavours but its not drinkable due to the burn. Love the fruit flavoyrs though. Ultimately utz just too hot. madmitch76 (24431) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013

Tap East. Cask. Hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Slight soft and viscous palate. Sweetish peach, little mango and resin. Lesser tropical fruits. Sweetish malt underneath with light caramel. Smooth finish. Pretty drinkable for a 9.0% cask beer.
Cask at Tap East - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, creamy white head. Nose carries lots of ripe citrus fruits, some sugary bread. Medium sweet flavor with further ripe citrus, lots of orange, some mild wood notes, hints of sticky grass, lightly toasted pale malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming, sticky and somewhat resinous to finish, some juicy pine, mellow leaves, orange juice, mango and papaya. A decent ’British style’ DIPA.
