niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2015
Cask at Holy Inadequate, Etruria. Pours golden with white head. Plenty of well balanced grapefruit bitterness. Packs a lot more of a punch than it’s ABV. Nice palate cleansing ale.

Cask via gravity dispense at GBBF 2015. Clear very pale golden amber beer with a medium white foam head. Nose is bitter lime and grapefruit peel, barley cereal grain, light straw. Taste is grapefruit, little bit of that lime peel, clean and crisp on the palate. This is one of those simple light and citrousy golden ales made to convert lager drinkers. Decent, but very simple and I wish Oakham would send something more sophisticated to this festival as they have much much better beers.
