Simpe light caramelly malts, some sweet fruitiness too. Very sweet. A bit sickly, palate too sugary. Tons of sweet fruity. Lacking the crispness I like from Oakham, disappointed.
Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours light Amber with a white head. Fruity, candy aroma with a little metal. Medium body, light carbonation. Light caramel, orange, lemon, wood, hint of booze, light grapefruit... OK if a little lifeless.

Cask at CPK - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma holds simple pale malts, light citrus fruits, lemon. Light-medium sweet flavor with an interesting white tea character, some lemon meringue, tangerine, light bitter hay, lemon zest. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and soft mouthfeel; pretty good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish with hints of Earl Grey, more mellowed citrus fruits, pale bread, low bitterness. Tasty beer. Novel and quite drinkable. Scopey (16277) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2015
Cask at CP&K. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, fragrant, watermelon, light grassy/herbal, fennel?! almost sorachi ace-like nose, creamy, guanabana and rice pudding. The taste is crisp, bitter, light sweetness, biscuity malt, toasty grain, citrus rind, grass, sherbet, icing sugar, grapefruit and lemon rind with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite a lot going on for the style. Good. allmyvinyl (11208) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 29, 2015
Cask at Thomson’s. 5.2%. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of malt, caramel, light herbs. Taste is quite thin, malty. Clean, dry finish.

dark burnished gold, medium body, fruity esters, biscuit, light carbonation, easy drinking, inoffensive.
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2016 Cask, Chelmsford Ale House, 20th January 2015. Typically golden ale. Grapefruit, lemons, some slight petrol, quite tough on drinkability
Think this got hot in transit as it isn’t what it should be. Considerable off-flavours which I rarely get from Oakham.
Hmmm. another cask at Chelmsford AleHouse...this time on spectacular form..
White lacing. Golden appearance. Dropped bright. Lots of tangerines, mangos, soft malts, marmalade, excellent bitterness. Super clean. Great yeast. Yeah Oakham awesomeness again. Brilliant 47574xeCD (1349) - Coventry, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2015
Cask at The Merchants Inn, Rugby.
Clear Golden beer with a white fuzzy head, Malty Biscuit Citrus notes, but a little flat and no tangy finish I would have expected from Oakham beers. Slight hoppy notes. AshtonMcCobb (7047) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 18, 2015
On cask @ Cloisters.
Appearance - golden with a nice head.
Nose - honey and limes.
Taste - lime scented honey again, almost but not quite going into lime marmalade.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long tangy texture.
Overall - enjoyable beer. I think this was 5.6% to be honest, so top end for Golden Ale. Stuu666 (15301) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 18, 2015
Cask at Stockbridge tap. Pours clear amber, nose is peach, apricot, taste is similar, sweet.
