Cask; Special - Peterborough Beer Festival 2010.
A light, golden ale brewed using lager hops and green tea. Delicate aromas of pineapple and vanilla combine with citrus fruit in a light, tangy palate, carrying through to a dry, lingering bitterness.

Cask conditioned at The Jolly Crispin, Upper Gornal, W.Mids. Pale gold with white head. Top notch Oakham beer again, served in excellent condition. Really quite delicately hoppy, citrus, lemony, biting, plentiful bitterness and yes I did write delicate tea note before seeing the description. Lovely beer.

White, minimal head at the top of a clear, straw coloured body. Malt-fruity aroma. Fruity aroma sustained by dry, spiced hops building up to a pleasant bitter end. Cask, half, at Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield 1 Oct 10.

Cask, Peterborough Fest 10. Lght gold with a thin white foam. Aromas are yeasty with lemon and hay. Very grassy hops with hints of Belgian wit spices. Flavours are crisp citrus hops with yeast and clean bitter grapefruit. Low malts but Oakham are hop masters.

Cask Conditioned handpump Peterborough BF 2010. A straw gold coloured beer with an off-white thin head. A spicy hoppy aroma with grassy notes leads to a pleasant balanced but predominantly hoppy taste. Very easy to drink with the promised green tea showing its face. As usual a good Oakham beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Barton Arms, Birmingham 31/08/10. Pale gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit aroma with a touch of pineapple too. Flavour was similarly dominated by grapefruit with a suggestion of resin in the dry finish. Another very good beer from a consistent brewer.

DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2010
The Wellington, Brum. Pale gold with a snow white collar. Grapefruit, blackcurrant and passion fruit aroma. Dry rasp of bitterness, nut husk and grapefruit tempered with lychee and red apple sweetness.

larsga (7567) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 22, 2010
Medium offwhite head. Hazy pale yellow body. Golden fruity floral aroma with resiny strawy notes. Lovely clarity and harmony. Dry-sweet resiny floral fruity taste with strawy herbal notes. Faintly watery dusty mouthfeel. Light body. Dry, faintly acidic, lemony strawy resiny aftertaste. Very nice, and extremely sessionable. (0.5pt at The Rake, London.)

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Bright, clean gold, with a sweet white topping. Lime jam and goldings on the finish, with some elderflower. Fresh, light, fizzy on the tongue. A gob of fruit pastille too. Lovely and airey.
