6 odd aroma, sweet malts, sticky hops
4 deep red, tiny head
7+ big caramel base, huge fruity hops. Some freezer ice retronasals.
4 finish so fruity and sticky, some ginger, loads of citrus. Long finish bitingly throbbingly bitter.
14+ BANG - what a smack in the chops this is! maybe too sweet. Couldn’t session it
Rerate of (7:4:7:4:14=3.6) Cask (Kuikka, Helsinki)
Rich reddy brown, small persistent foamy head. Beautiful hoppy aroma despite being served cold. Both fruity aromatic hops and more traditional bitter ones. Full-bodied, smooth palate. Gingery and fruity hoppy retronasals. Big bitter finish. Drying and resiny, lasting for a long time. Quite well balanced. Perhaps the hops are a touch too dominant and aggressive - over-egged, one might say - so misses out on the wow factor.
Grain and cereal malts, bread, sweet citrus fruits, orange, wet straw. Clear gold, small, frothy, white head. Medium bitter. More sweet citrus fruits, grapefruit with some bitterness, grass, more grain and cereal malts, flat carbonation, medium bodied, bitter finish. Nice ESA, intense, rich, well-balanced. Cask at CBC,Islington. Phil (181) - Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2007
The downside, not a lot. I’m guessing amarillo, Centenial and mount hood, on a nice broad caramelly body. Sounds almost sexual. Still, very good stuff. if a tad sweet for more than a couple.

Cask at W’Spoons Southgate Nth London. Deep brown colour, malty and some toffee and of course the hops. Also a little musty as if an antique beer. US influenced, pretty good find.
