Flavour is composed of base grains, grainstore, light honey, zesty citrus light berry in the finish. Palate is medium light with a pinch of sweetness, moderate cask condition. Cask at The Water House (JDW), Durham, £1.89/pint.
Very pale amber beer with a bit of a haze and a thin, smooth, white head. Laces well. Loads of sweet citrus in a pleasant aroma. The taste opens similarly with sweet citrus but there’s plenty of depth to the flavour, with enjoyable dryer, earthy notes too and a long, dry finish. Nice underlying maltiness. Very easy to drink and enjoyable.
