Bottle from Waitrose in East Cowes. Beer pours out in a light hazy golden colour with low, airy head and crisp body. Aroma of hops and spruce. Taste of fresh hops, mandarinas, citrus, spruce, pine, mild herbs and light peppers. Wonderful refreshing. Loved it due to its well-balanced bitterness and aromatic finish. The aroma of wood from the hops. A little thin and bitter taste. Tastes much English despite there being used amarillo and summer hops. BiscuitMalt (6) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2014 does not count
It stuns me that people don’t rate this beer. On cask it has a wonderful velvet mouthfeel that instantly lets you know the brewer cares. It is packed with aroma hops giving tropical fruits, peaches and gooseberry; it is perfectly bitter and has a solid pale malt backbone. One of the ten best sub 5% beers in the world.

Cask at The Mermaid, St Albans on 12 Jan 2013. Poured a bright amber, with a thin, off-white head. Great aroma of juicy hops, lychee, passion fruit and some grassy notes. Flavour was a mix of tropical fruit, bitter waxy hop and biscuity malt. Finish was marmalade, grapefruit and grain. s_hartshorne (2796) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2014

500ml bottle from B&M Edinburgh. Pours clear amber, short-lived white head. Light tropical fruit aromas, light caramel. Taste is grapefruity bitter. Lingering sweet note. Medium body, gentle carbonation. OK. mR_fr0g (13155) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2014
Bottle at home from B&M Watford. Clear golden colour with a loose off white head. Slight haze. Aroma is composed of mellow citrus fruits, peach, light caramel malt sweetness. English yeast esters and berry on the nose as well. Flavour is initially straw and slightly caramel malt sweet and then sharp citrus grapefruit and lemon rind. Finish has an assertive rough straw and grapefruit bitterness. Medium palate, mid sweet and crisp in the finish, medium carbonation. Really bit hop hit in this beer. Very refreshing and perfect for this fine summer’s eve. MrTipple (5956) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2014
