Tart gooseberry and soft peach on the nose. Gooseberries and fruit to taste, before an intense bitterness thatís as sharp as a macawís screech!

(cask) slightly opalescent golden colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of lemon peel and yeast, with a hint of straw, some light raisins and grass. flavour is mostly herbal hops and straw, again quite yeasty, with a medium-bitter nettle finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Robin Hood, Guildford. Pours golden amber with a small white head. Aroma of hop, caramel, malt. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finish is dry with growing bitterness.

Bottle shared some time past best before date. Slight hazy golden with white head. Lots of lychees, sweet malts, light grass and herbs. Medium sweet and light bitter. I guess some of the bitterness has gone. Itís still quite fruity though. Just medium bodied. Past itís prime, but still not bad.

Bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout becoming increasingly bitter into the dry finish. Very drinkable. Decent. (2014-04-29)

Bit unclear, golden colored, small off white head. Aroma is of some pale malt, medium+ hoppy fruity peach, floral aroma. Taste is medium sweet pale malt, some caramel, light biscuit, medium peachy fruity, floral and less citrus aroma, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit oily.
