Bottle from Waitrose. I normally like Oakhams beers, and this was no exception. Bright amber in colour, fruity hoppy nose. Summer fruits and a lingering bitterness. Great level of carbonation - not too fizzy. Cracking beer. Must buy more.

Taste is medium sweet pale malt, some caramel, light biscuit, medium peachy fruity, floral and less citrus aroma, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit oily. tombyars (1621) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - NOV 15, 2016
Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) on the 3rd November 2016. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear amber in colour with a thin white head. Weak malty aroma with notes of green apple and a slight hint of boiled eggs. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a digestive biscuit base with tart gooseberry fruit coming through in the mouth. Dry dusty hop resins impart a metallic tang to the bitter aftertaste but not cloyingly fortunately. Slight malt present in the weak finish with tart fruit still evident in the palate. Lacking in depth of flavour and complexity compared to other Blonde Ales at a similar ABV.

Handpump at Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden, London. Deep gold clear pour, off-white foam. Nose: English malt signature, a bit smoky kind of dusty room. Barley leftovers! Lovely! Mouth: Rich barley, easy drinking, oxidation (ripped cherries). Bitter aftertaste. England on forever! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
