UPDATED: AUG 13, 2007 Cask at Oakham Brewery Tap, Peterborough. This is almost as good as it gets. I have known a 9 of this disappear in a smallish pub in 6 hours. Wonderfully drinkable with all of the normal Oakhams bits (golden hoppy citrus zesty) but with a roundedness from the addition of malted wheat. Fabulous.
Re-rate Planet Thanet Beer Festival 2007. I had this 4 times, first and last beer of each day and it was faultless, the citrus aroma, the body that is fuller due to the addition of wheat and this grapefruit/tangerine finish that lasts and lasts. Cask at Spuyten Duyvil, Brookly. Unbelievable nose; perhaps the most flowery beer, pungent with lilac and herby flowers, that I have ever had. I was shouting in the bar my disbelief at the quality of the aroma. And the flavors, while subtle, were still wonderfully fresh and sweet with biscuit qualities. Very slight bitterness to round things out. A truly masterfully made beer and presented very well. Typical cask frothiness of the head and light airiness of the body. I’m in love with this beer! pivo (2689) - GERMANY - SEP 6, 2003
GBBF 2003, tap: Amazing stuff, this beer. Thin floral nose of fresh fresh hops. Yello color and a low head. Kinda grassy taste in the middle of the body, spicy end with a long lingering bitterness. A hop head's delight. One of the best beers and the best breweries at the GBBF 2003. Sigmund (8006) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2005
Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Pale golden colour. Lovely citrussy sweet aroma, hints of honey. Some natural carbonation, zesty. Some wheat character. A nice hoppy bitterness throughout. Another great session beer from Oakham. CampbellWilson (533) - SCOTLAND - OCT 24, 2004
Cask at Bon Accord Glasgow. Surprised to find this described as a ’German Hefeweizen’ Only slightly cloudy, easy drinking, fruity aroma but main characteristic is long dry refreshing hoppy finish. Tastes like a good dry light bitter.

Cask @ JDW, Crystal Palce, Aug 07: Hazy golden hue reminescent of a hefweizen. Aroma of lemons and grapefruit, lively hops with some malt. Muscat like mouthfeel, very nice well balanced summer beer. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 12, 2003
GBBF 03 on draft: Total agrement with Ken Fisher who presented us more than one token: Yeast and wheat, golden sunny color, no head, no carb. Slightly bitter, long lasting taste - vanilla and banana - citrusy and also doughy. Great brew and complex - Liked it. DeepBlack (386) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2005
