Sangiovese Oak Wine Barrel. Our beer, a rich imperial stout with hints of wine on the nose, deceptively smooth and full of vanilla, bitter chocolate and black licorice.

Black in color with a small off-white head. Interesting nose of smoke, licorice, charred oak, wine, and red wine vinegar. Dark fruit notes, sugar, and a hint of coffee. The flavor is fairly fruity with a nice wine note. Fairly tart with some definite vinegar sourness. Roasted malt, a hint of alcohol, oak, and some char. A little bit of licorice and burnt sugar, too.
