Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Oct 2014 - Dark Brown in colour. Malty; roasty malts, smoked malts, toffee/caramel, some coffee, hints of liquorice. Fruity; some dark fruits. Spicy. Hoppy; slightly earthy hops. Sweetish roast malty and smoky, becoming increasingly bitter into the finish. Liked this. Decent. (2014-10-25)

Good dark brown colour with creamy head. Hazelnuts and chocolate taste malty flavour and hint of black midget gems. Good strength and crisp on palate. All in all a good one.

allmyvinyl (10925) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 21, 2015
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours very dark brown, but clear, big, pillowy creamy head. Aromas of hazelnuts, high-baked biscuits, light chocolate, raisins. Taste is all this and more, some dried mixed peel, more nuttiness. Medium body, creamy texture. A real treat actually, lovely example of the style.
