Cask handpull, The High Cross, Leicester, 16/11/12. Burnished, low-headed orange gold. Orange, fig, raisiny aroma with wicker and acetone. Oh. That aniseed and malted milk biscuit, vanilla thing again. Still and full. Some orange-soapy mellow hop. Really tasty with great malt flavours. But.

Golden light amber, dense thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - light caramel malts, light fruits, hmmm
Taste - Bitter hops, quite spicy, some gloopy sweetish pale malts, peppery hops, some fruity malts, bit odd and astringent
Palate - medium body, smooth texture. Finish - dryish, long linger, peppery, rather astringent and too bitter
Overall - I found this too astringent, bitter and peppery

One-third pint, cask at The Knights Templar. Tiny, off-white head. Slightly unclear golden. Spiced fruity aroma, notes of lemon. Citrus fruity taste followed by resinous bitterness towards the ending. Semi-dry. Quite alright (JDWs real-ale festival, London 01.11.2012).

On cask at The Standing Order. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuity malt, grassy hops and yeast. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Nice and dry to finish.
