UPDATED: MAY 2, 2005 GBBF, London (August 04). Sampled with chris_o. Ruby brown, teeny head. Clean, caramel flavour. Slightly insistent, tangy crispbread finish. Bar-b-q aroma. Good stuff (3.2). RE-RATE at Reading beer fest (30/4/05) almost the same comments as above, though in comparison with other Milds sampled today, Id move the mouthfeel score up one notch, otherwise its as you were. This is indeed very quaffable. (3.3)

Wow!! How good was this beer. Rich black and opaque. The beer looks like a pint of oil, with the slightest of purple shines. Rich liquorice aroma. Juicy and lovely. I could have drunk this all day. Stout like and massive in flavour despite its low ABV. Beer this flavoursome you could drink forever and not get drunk.
