Solid sour/funky effort from Oakshire. Poured a murky yellow with a thin white head and a fair bit of effervescence. Aroma is farmyard, horsey, all of the Brett notes are present and accounted for. Acidity is light but present. Fairly one note, but it’s a good note. This is a well done Brett beer.
Bottle thanks to Dean. Pours a cloudy orange gold with no head. The aroma is oak, apple skin, funk. Thin mouth, funky, apple, pear, wheat, light tartness, very good. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
My Bottom Line:Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2014
Floral brettanomyces, white grapes and citrus fruit move into tartness in this slender Wild Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the cloudy straw blond.
-Soft little bubbles add to this brew’s agreeable mouthfeel.
-Wild yeast is not overwhelming.
-The finish is acidic and quenching.
This one poured a hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma was of lots of citrus fruit, peach skins, and lemons. Flavor was similar, nice fruit character, apricot, some funk and oak tool. Pretty good. crossovert (12927) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2014

hazy-cloudy yellow-gold with thin, white head and moderate decay. Aroma is Parmesan cheese, tart grape/cherry wine. Flavor is vinous, light grassy hops, bit of hay. hints of farm. Light body with medium carbonation. Overall impression was that it strikes a nice balance between sourness and fruit/malt character. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 17, 2013
