Bomber from Alan. Cloudy orange copper with a tan creamy head. Huge alcohol aroma with prunes, oak, smoke, coconut, vanilla (sorta reminds me off malibu rum). low carbonation, full body, lots of alcohol, quite sweet and hot. OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Sippin on dat fuggin barley wine...yeah...Nose is big booze, some Overall, cherries, vanilla, and wood. Very boozy. Body is copper with a light head. Flavors are big booze, vanilla, some of dat caramel and more boooozzzeee. yeah, booze. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - SEP 7, 2012
The nose reminds me of the Angel’s share, and that is very enticing. Flavors of cherries, raisins and light hops are all saturated in the medium body of this warm elixir. Thanks for the share - you know who you are. You don’t know who I am either. jcartamdg (3436) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Pours an amber red with no head. Aroma of caramel, booze and slight smoke. Taste follows, way too boozy. Not a good beer

pour is a murky dirty copper brown with a tight beige head and fair amount of lace. The nose is actually a rough, notes of bourbon and some cardboard. Rather malty, chocolate and toffee and some stale hop, very messy. Taste is heavy malt, roast and chocolate, notes of bourbon but light. Almost no heat, very little balance. Full bodied, a touch chalky, light carbonation. The malts are overpowering and unpleasant.

Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, frothy, good to fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dried fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic.
Bottle. The next Wooden Hell! Pours a caramel clear color with a slight tan head. Caramel aroma, slight hops, and a little barrel. Slight booze note. Med mouthfeel. Less flavorful than I would have expected. Light caramel, hops in the back, back end just has a slight alcohol bite. Not gray but not bad either. anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 1, 2012
