Bomber poured a hazy brown with a small lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of tootsie roll, graininess and carmel. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.
22 oz bottle from MVW. Thanks, bud. Shared with friends. Pours a richer brownish pour, healthy orange and amber glow elements. A firm haziness as the brown sits in the body. Frothy whitish head sit atop, dies to a firm ring and laces ok. A thicker ring. Aromas are cocoa and brown malt elements, firm toast, cocoa, and gentle earthiness. Biscuits, toffee, and some gentle kisses of tobacco, soil. Gentle floral hits the nose, English biscuits and brown malts. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, offering firm toast, gentle chestnut, cocoa, and some biscuits really grow. Touches of cocoa, caramel, toffee, biscuits. Gentle cocoa, earth, nuttiness. Middle is a touch sticky, toasty. Backend offers a mellow dry earthy and floral hopping, lingering toast, nut, and cocoa. A firm heavy handed brown malt, biscuit, and bready malt influence. Backend and finish is a bit more dry, lingering dryness, toast, and some really lingering cocoa and brown malt elements. Solid Brown Ale.. Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a bit of roast with some grassy hops and a bit dark bread. Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured amber, burnt orange with a thin white head. Nose was malty, nutty, cocoa sweetness. Quite quaffable, malt and bread-like flavors. Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. This beer pours brown with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and mild hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, grain and hops. The finish is sweet with a toffee and malt aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Doesn’t taste much like a brown. Poured medium cloudy brown. with thin white head. Much lacing. Hoppy aroma like an IPA. Medium to full body and medium hoppiness like a Cape ale. Sweet malty finish something like a brown. It’s called a brown, but not sure where to put this, and the beertender wasn’t either.
