Bottle. Pours a ruddy brown, with a respectable top of sturdy foam. The aroma is unusual and I cant quite pin it ... almost cough medicine-like, but not off-putting. This drinks with a fruity flourish, like a sweet cherry bake. Theres also a nice little bitter edge that tops this off quite nicely. (#6137, 2/21/2016)

22 oz bottle. Pours ruby amber brown with a medium creamy light tan head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is perfumey roasted caramel malts and vanilla with a little fruit.

The flavor is sweet nutty perfumey caramel malts with with some vanilla and dark fruit and a green slightly harsh bitter finish thats a little plasticky. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK winter warmer.

22 oz. bottle, pours a dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and bready caramel malt. Flavour is similar, with bready malt and a little toasted nuts. Pretty dull and lifeless. But its okay.

Bottle picked up at the COOP.. Poured into my little Cigar City goblet.. Clear deep amber with a nice pillowy khaki head. piney hops with plenty of dark toasty malt and hints of cocoa.. Nuttiness with the malt as it warms up a bit, bigger bitterness and the pine hops are on the palate, but not quite as much as I want.. Still no problems... Good hops and malt balance... Expected PNW take on a winter beer... If I was drinking this blind, I would guess an Amber Ale with a nice sharpness to the overall package.

Bomber bottle poured a hazy copper-brown hue w/ medium tan head. Mild spicy aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet with a bold bitter finish. Tastes are wet cardboard, metallic, spices and harsh grass bitterness. Full bodied and some warmth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Light caramel and toffee malt aroma with notes of piney hops. Pours Amber colored with half a finger of tan head with good retention and no lacing. Starts with light caramel and toffee sweetness, but not a lot. Finishes dry with with a good piney hop bite at the end that lingers on the palate. Not bad.

Bomber from Trader Joes. Very dark prune in color. Nose is pretty much dark roasted maltiness, with a hint of breadiness. Flavor is roasted malts with a lot of roasted coffee. Finish is decently hopped.
