Bomber from Trader Joes. Very dark prune in color. Nose is pretty much dark roasted maltiness, with a hint of breadiness. Flavor is roasted malts with a lot of roasted coffee. Finish is decently hopped. Beachmaster (580) - Oklahoma, USA - JAN 13, 2015
Bomber into a pint glass. Pours brown, with a small tan head that quickly fades. Nose is malt and hops. Taste is malty nuttiness with a strong hop component on the finish. Over hopped and not well balanced. Would not buy again. liquidhedonism (289) - Beaverton, Oregon, USA - JAN 2, 2015
22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty, woody, and nutty, with hints of fall spices, toffee, biscuit, lactose, resin, and hardwood. Taste/Palate: starts crisp and slightly sweet, and finishes creamy, bitter, and astringent. julesjis (256) - Oregon, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Poured from a 22. Aroma is a bit sweet but doesn’t have the typical winter ale smells. Taste is ever so slightly caramel in the front (rather unimpressive) and chewy bitter tree bark on the back. It definitely had an odd skunk to it. Overall it was fairly thin and watery not much depth but drinkable. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - DEC 5, 2014
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a nice looking dark hazy brown color with a thin capped white foamy head that clung for a good amount of the time.
The smell had a deep dark roasted brown ale - esque sort of roasted and possibly baked maltiness about it. The taste was mainly roasty and sweet with a rolling roastiness in the aftertaste and it leaves a slight dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping quality about it. It seems carbonated appropriately.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good winter warmer leaning towards the darker side of the house.

22 oz. bomber purchased at BevMo. It pours a dark red color with a nice creamy off white head. The aroma is pretty well balanced with toast, toffee and light fruit salad with some hints of floral, herbal hops. The flavor is more hoppy than the aroma with some strong earthy, floral bitterness, sweet toffee, caramel, toast, fruit and hints of cocoa. It kind of tastes like a cross between an English Strong Ale and a Winter Warmer/Old Ale. Pretty tasty stuff. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish dark amber color with a moderate light tan head on there. Nose has some nice toasting to it with just a hint of caramel coming through. Taste isn’t sweet, and has a nice dry bite to it that really highlights the toasting. Nice drink. marcus (10668) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Bottle shared by oRos. Pours hazy amber with a rich fluffy beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a hearty brown malt flavor that is pretty bitter for an English Ale. Very tasty. oRos (1674) - sacramento, California, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Bottle from bevmo natomas. Pours Brown Amber with white head. Has a nice alt taste with some bitterness at the finish mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Nice, balanced beer. I shall not complain. Nothing calls itself out here, but nothing says don’t drink this beer, either.
