Pours a DEEP dark brown.... nice highlights on the stem of my little CC goblet.. tannish head... okay retention and cap.. spotty lacing. Good citrus on the nose with some pronounced roasty malt... above average for the style, but I want more from brewers in the PNW :-) Flavor has more of everything and is pretty inviting... a long lingering hoppiness on the finish... and the malts never die. Medium body.... carbonation is fine.... I dig the hops... they seem a bit oily and bind everything together nicely. Pretty well done... No flaws... just could use more "cleanliness" and a bit of division between the flavors.... Minor bitches, but I will buy this again in a heartbeat.

Bomber. Clear deep dark copper, lasting tan foam. Dark malt aroma, citrusy and piney. Darker roasted malt taste, faint coffee, foresty citrus hop, a bit floral and spicy. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Good. NFL (Not For Lagerboys) marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 15, 2014
Bottle shared by oRos. Pours dark brown with a decent beige head and a citrus and treacle aroma. There is a sturdy dark roasted malt base with a piny hop profile. Alanthebeerguy (213) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 13, 2014
From the bomber. A great balance of a dark malt beer with a good dose of NW hops. The rich flavour of a dark flavour, but the hops give the beer a hop bitter finish, instead of the usual sweetness or rye like characteristics. Yum.

Bomber from bevmo natomas. Pours black with cream head that stuck around. Taste was roasted malts with lots of citrus hops at the end.

Very nice BIPA. Lots of roast and lots of citrus hop aroma here. Pours black with good head and lacing and a good dose of roast. Finishes bitter with light caramel notes. Tap at Black Squirrel. slowrunner77 (12040) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 18, 2014
"Nice breakfast beer, as this was a spot in mix of orange and grapefruit hops, coffee and a touch of chocolate. No heat. Sessionable yet complex and very tasty." RedSox2004 (1890) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Dark brown, almost opaque, with ruby highlights, a two-finger foamy tan head and very nice lace. Rich aromas of cocoa powder, roasted malt, earth and a touch of citrus. Taste is similar, with the malt and chocolate sweetness offset by pleasant pine and citrus hop bitterness. The bitterness takes over and lingers through the finish. Medium body, lively carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel and a crisp finish. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 17, 2014
Pretty dark brown with a big rocky, smells floral, citrusy, a little roasty, really rich toasty dark malts, aggressive hop bitterness, full body. A very assertive character, big example, I really like it.
