Enchanting. Ethereal. Fleeting. Is that a woman in the distance, or are your eyes playing tricks on you? Luchesa Lager is brewed in the traditional German Kellerbier style, where subtle malt notes marry with assertive Hallertau and Saaz hops. Like a mirage, your empty glass will leave you wondering

Draft at Lucky's with some pizza. Chosen mostly because it was the only thing I hadn't already tried but it was a nice, moderately bitter lager. Enjoyable.

Smells and taste better than most lagers out there. Has a little spicy note going on from the hops that I really enjoyed. At the end of the six pack though, it's still just a lager that comes in a CAN.

Tap at Growler Spot. Little white head. Clear, very pale yellow. Almost colorless. Aroma of straw and grassy hops. Very light bodied, slightly dry. Tastes like grain and bread with a touch of bittering.

Aroma: fainly lager like; Appearance: clear, golden straw with thin white head; Taste: bready and lager-like; similar to London Homesick. Overall: bready and flat like Heineken.

Draft at the source. Clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma of bread and light malts. Taste is similar, with hints of toffee and apple. Light-bodied and mild.

Des courbes céréalières prononcées et miellées laissent libre cours à des épices très entreprenantes. La buvabilité est sans pitié dans celle-là.

Can at trailer. Hazy golden color with white foam. Spicy, earthy, citrusy hop aromas with some white bread. Smooth medium body. Bready, citrusy, spicy, dry hay flavors---drying finish____good

L: Clear gold. Excellent lacing, great white head with good retention.
S: Lager-ish. Malty.
T: Like it smells. Only fresher and a more drinkable version of a lager.
F: Light and smooth.
O: I like this style. Other good examples I have had is Alpine Spring from Sam Adams and Maxlrainer’s Zwickel Max. This is more readily available though.

BeerRenter76 (1043) - Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2015
Originally rated on 9/13/14. Pale golden color with a slight haze, thin soapy head leaves some spotty yet decent lace.Aromas of sweet malts, and grassy herbal hops. A bit heavy of the style but i kinda like it like that, mid carbonation bite. Flavor of grass up front with the malts coming in but losing the sweetness, herbal spiciness on the finish. Overall its pretty decent kellerbier/ pils/ lager hybrid.

Malty with dull bitters. Very light mouthfeel. A very old tasting recipe but very good. Quite enjoyable and I look forward to subsequent cans of it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
