A classic continentally hopped lager (4.0% abv) but with an Oban Bay twist of citrus notes, giving a clear, crisp and refreshing finish. A bold, aromatic and refreshing lager style beer, with a subtle and smooth finish on the palette. Uncompromisingly expensive malt, produces the finest lager, typical of all our Oban Bay Beers.

Bottled, from Oban. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity canteloupe aroma. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Very slight spicy hops, fairly low bitterness.

imdownthepub (15137) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2013
Bottled, 500ml at The Tyndrum Inn, Tyndrum, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Hazy gold with fizzed head. Quite a thin, sweet malty beer, wet cardboard hints a touch of grassiness possibly. A little disappointing.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2015 500ml bottle from Aldi. Pours pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light floral hops, light malt. Taste is more of the same. Lemony finish. Thin.

Fin (10837) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2014
Bottle courtesy of Nick & Anna (Thanks both!) consumed at home Sunday 12th October 2014. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is a little corny and to be fair this does lean towards a lager. A bit thin, touch metallic but lingering mineral edge. Not really my cup of tea, but it’s ok. Thanks again to Nick and Anna for this beer. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9

gunnar (9453) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2013
Shared bottle at Edinburgh RB tasting. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Very shy caramel aroma. Taste is moderate bitter, lingering, some caramel, but not a beer to remember.

AshtonMcCobb (6871) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 18, 2011
50cl bottle at Loch Melfort Hotel and Restaurant. Pours a golden/orange with gentle bubbles and no head. The nose has bran and honey. The taste has more honey and some pale malt. The palate is medium structure and texture with a fresh ending. Overall, a big rustic lager, quite good.

mr_h (5843) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - NOV 4, 2012
500ml bottle courtesy of Marian - clear pale golden, thin bubbly white head, sweet malt and resin aroma, grassy, cereal, high carbonation, dry finish
