Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug, also shared with Travlr - thanks for the beers! Mild aroma - nice complex flavor: nuts, bubblegum, caramel. Not too heavy, not typical for a dunkel, by very nice. Bierkrug (2129) - - OCT 18, 2010
500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a light brown color with a foamy off white head. Aroma is very interesting with bubblegum and carmel. Taste js light is very refreshing. Has notes of candy and maly but not overly sweet. Palate is perfect. I am not afriad to giveit the rating that I did. I think it is much better aged in a bottle than fresh at the brew pub. One of the top and best beers that I ever had!!!!!! shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 29, 2010

Fruity and sour-ish aroma with some scotch tape note. Cloudy, grey-brown with a thin, white cover. Biscuity and sour-ish flavour with some vitamin/candy/oxidized character. Also a little nutty and with very low bitterness, leaving the balance towards sweet. Medium body, low carbonation, very slightly bitter finish. cgreb (422) - Marburg, GERMANY - MAR 26, 2009

(Bottled) Hazy dark cola color with a smallish, lacy head. Roasted-malty, dark-fruity aroma with some sourness. Roasted-malty, smoky-licoricey flavor with low bitterness. Medium-bodied, foamy-carbonated, but smooth palate. A pleasantly smooth and tasty brew. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - MAR 2, 2004
What a delicious and easy-drinking beer. I could drink it all night long...
Pours a hazy amber beer with a nice head. The aroma is mild and very inviting. Flavor is somewhat sweet of roased malt and brown sugar with a slight bitter finish. Not the fullest beer but it is very smooth and delicious.
