Big green bottle (0.5L) at the UACA club for the NLNA Talent show. Decent swill: good barley, water, hops, and yeast lager.

Sampled at an outside bar in Kyiv. Has a very small head topping a light body. Ah, what do I smell? corn, baby! Soemthing that is hard to find in many Ukrainian lagers. The taste is not pleasant, slight sour with some hops. A dry finish.

Bottle (green): Very grainy yellow with a huge corn nose. lager yeast dampness aroma as it warmed. Quite harsh and grainy, but a solid haylike hopped finish which, thankfully, got rid of the rest of the tastes.

Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2004
Pale yellow, small head, no lacing. Smelled not too bad, but not much smell at all really. Streaming carbonation up the glass. Taste was soapy, lightly sour, dirty. Could barely finish this one.

Bottled, pasteurised. Sl Hazy pale gold with white fizzed head. Sweet, sl stale, some dry tea, fairly standard lager. There is a taste of a maize adjunct and not much else. I didnt appreciate that this was from the Ukraine until now.

A very boring brew. Nothing interesting. Corn in both aroma and flavour. Dry and carbonated in both finish and aftertaste.

Golden coloured. Fruity and slightly skunky aroma. Rather boring and sweet flavour. Not much bitterness.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUN 23, 2004
Grainy, slightly hazy appearance with a fizzy soda head. The aroma is all skunk but the flavor actually has some redeeming qualities of sweetness, with some biscuity malty notes coming through as well. Watered down and boring though throughout.

Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2004
Pale yellow, fizzy head. Aroma musty, some skunk, but some grain and grassy hops as well. Flavor matched. Not the best, but there were some decent malt and hop flavors here.

Tap @lletorn 21.5.2004, Tallinn
Hazy golden, lively carbonation. Creamy medium white head. Aroma is sweet berries and malt. Medium-bodied, sweet crisp yeast and malt. Slightly oily and sweet aftertaste.
