Good full flavor with a slight malty aftertaste. Moderate head that sticks around for a while. Very good with seafoods. Bestb when served icy cold. schweinhund (38) - Racine, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2012
.5L bottle into glass mug. The bottle says "ale" but it is a lager. And, a very nice lager at that. I am reminded of Hofbrau House Original, really!Sweet, malty aroma seduces from time the cap is popped. Sleepy, cloudy appearance give sway to pleasant, almost sweet, malty taste which fades somewhat in the aftertaste. I really liked this beer and was pleasantly surprised. Hey, if you like Jack Palance, you like the Ukranians, right? Give it a try. Prosit Grzesiek79 (4379) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 23, 2012

Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación moderada. Paladar suave y malteado. Final largo y amargo. Cerveza por encima de la media del Estilo. Buena asimilación y aconsejada en sesiones de Pale Lager.

Slightly skunky clove and fennel aroma. Shimmering amber pour, no head. Lemon grass and clove, good balance. Grass in the end. Not an ordinary lager and refreshing after a workout.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2011 Clear yellow golden color, large vast thick white head. Smell nice, like a plain and simple pilsener or pale lager should smell. A bit watery but otherwise nice decent taste. Low body. tommann (3896) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is sweet, grass and minerals. Taste is sweet and grassy, touch of corn on the finish. Fatehunter (2603) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 14, 2013
A finger of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body. It looks better than most.
The aroma is a dirty barnyard, a little musty grain. Not offensive but not good either.
The taste has a medium bitterness throughout and finishes on a sweet note. A nice and simple profile.
The texture is crisp with a bit too much carbonation.
I still put this above average. I could see myself throwing these down in some small, southern Ukrainian town... come to think of it, I have. 77ships (10770) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 11, 2013
Personal contribution. 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. Pours clear golden, little white head. Nose is thick grains, some bitter weeds, wild grass,… Taste is bitter grains, brass, lightly malty, wild weeds, bitterness in the back, grassy hops,… Crisp and slightly soapy body. This is actually pretty good for a pale lager, I would almost venture to call it enjoyable. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2005
Bottle. Pale beer, light head. The aroma is quite malty, dry and slightly fruity. The flavour is quite refreshing, dry and slightly sour. Overall not half as bad as the other ratings suggest.
