I was pleasantly surprised by this one-for some reason I expected a bland pils. What I got was a sweetish bronze coloured beer. Quite tangy with a slight biterness. Life is all about surprises and this was one of them. Not a great but worth trying. Like other writters mine was a 5.2 not 4.5. yespr (47002) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2012 (Bottle). ABV 5,2 %. This was something of a surprise. Aroma of malt and fresh slightly spicy hops. The taste is malty with a fine hops aroma, spicy and dry. A real nice and tasty Pilsner-like Lager! crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2017
500ml bottle. Seemes decently fresh, clear light gold pour. Herbs, bready malt, decentbody, one of the better unkarinain beers. leaparsons (10692) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2002
Not a bad beer. I was quite surprised really. This pilsner has some taste! Not much in the way of the dryness expected but this is still a relatively pleasant sweet beer. My Zhigul was 5.2% not 4.5%

Pale amber with white head. Sweet grainy cereal nose. Medium carbonation, digestive biscuit malt, fairly sweet with a brief dry finish.
I think this is a better beer than the car of the same (similar) name. This one was not a common denizen of the kiosks like some of the others but was a good beer when available. This had a bit of the premium lable to it, compared to the svetle and other blander versions. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JAN 27, 2009
