Unique live beer with 45 days of shelf life. This beer is brewed as a classical light variety; however, it has some special production features. The brewed unfiltered beer is kept for a long time at a low temperature and then filtered in dedicated units to preserve natural quality and original taste. Perfect equipment and strict compliance with all sanitary standards excludes penetration of oxygen and other foreign matter or organisms during the filling process. In addition to its characteristic rich taste, Obolon Live is distinguished by a high concentration of natural proteins and organic compounds – polyphenols. These substances prevent premature aging of the human organism, cardiovascular diseases and strengthen the immune system. 11°

Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 12, 2012
Hazy blonde and with a fair amount of carbonation. Pillowy head. Aroma is fairly clean yeastiness. This is a fairly yeasty brew with a light maltiness and a hint of juiciness in the finish.

Bottle. A gusher producing a clear, golden body and a minimal white head. Can’t complain about the gushing, the salesman said it was to expect and that it should be like that. Strange. The aroma has a buttery, wort-like dominance, with some hoppyness and a good dash of hay. The flavor is quite buttery and sweet, some fruityness too, and with a good dash of hay. Medium body. Sort of dead in the end, with hay and some wort. Well, not my favorite bee, not even my favorite Ukrainean beer. A strange one indeed. 110420

500ml bottle via Gaute. Shared at with Ingrid and Esben. Airy white head, some of it remaining. Clear yellow coloured body. Smell of hard water, notes of malts. Modest taste of a little sour, earth-like malts. Lively carbonated. Has got some body. Harmless and about drinkable (Tromsø, 12.10.2013).

Оболонь Живе Пиво Світле Непасте& Obolonj Zhive Pivo Sveetle Nepateryzovane, Obolon Live Lager Beer Unpasteurized. 0,5L bottle abv 4,5% and 11’. Bought in a supermarket in the city Kremenchuk, Ukraine, and enjoyed on the city’s day 29th September.в День міста 29 вересня. hops, grass, wet grass, sour hints. A tall fragile head slowly diminishing. Pale straw yellow body, some bubbles. Tastes fruity hops, a lot of malts. Smooth feel in the mouth, as a candy. Aftertaste; bread, syrup, grains, candy. Overall I smile, it’s east to drink - chilled. Pretty good actually. Unpasteurized, therefore not really just a pale lager.
