A brown porter thatd be a great beer on its own is even better with a subtle toasted coconut character that complements the dark grains wonderfully. A complex and exotic potion thats an easy drinking, refreshing tropical elixir.

Draft - Toast, coconut and caramel malts. Clear copper with a decent white head. Nice toasted caramel, vanilla and a nice light sweet finish. Good.

Quite difficult to find in here. Nice to drink and very coconut alike. Refreshing and thin too.

Bottle- Thanks Bernie. Pretty average porter. Unfortunate, because I love porters and coconut. Didnt taste much coconut. Got some roasted chocolate notes and some wheaty malt. Otherwise a bit of a disappointment.

Pours a light brown color with ivory head. Pretty much cereal grains on the nose; same for the palate. I picked up no coconut or toasted coconut.

Pours from 12 oz bottle a very dark ruby brown, nearly black. Thin white layer of foam quickly dissipated. Aroma of dark chocolates, licorice, some faint coconut, roasted malted barley. Flavour is subdued, chocolate and roasted barley, coconut not present on my palate, if so very faint. Marginally decent porter, but yet its not my fave style either.

Bottle @ Whole Foods. Smelled great, with a hint of coconut. Tasted smooth but the coconut was not really present. Slightly watery. Only the 2nd Porter ive tried but its a bit too weak for my tastes.

Bottle. Very, very dark amber. Small off white head. Roasted grain, chocolate aroma that has a touch of sour. Taste is light coconut with chocolate and burnt grains with a sour finish.
