Can: found it in Roatan, HN an oasis in a beer wasteland! Inmediately one of my favorites, go ing black for more. KnowThyBeer (26) - Wilmington, North Carolina, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Strong coffee and nutty aromas. Beautiful dark color. High carbonation. Doesn’t hit your palate like a porter. Very gentle delivery. Cocoa, coffee, coconut, vanilla. Smooth, smooth finish. jhp40219 (449) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - NOV 4, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with amber hues. Large head that faded to a ring of bubbles fairly quickly. Spotty lacing that slid down into the beer. Aroma and taste of coconut, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and toasted grain. Very nice sweet taste without being too sweet or candy like. Full body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation, dry bitter finish of toasted coconut and malt. Very nice! The inspiration of my next homebrew! dchmela (3078) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 21, 2010
Draft at Redlight. Reddish brown pour. Roasted grain, coconut hush, toffee aroma. Taste is roasted grain, toffee sweetness and some nuttiness. Lacks a little in the coconut department, but I think just having a hint blended well with the roastiness of the porter. I really like this as it was flavorful and sessionable. On tap at the TampaPourHouse pouring up mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty to burnt malts, some mild muted dry coconut, caramel malts and a touch of toffee. The taste is similar with roasted malts, burnt malts, some sweet nuttiness and mild coconut. As it warms at the end of the taste the coconut grows to become more assertive.

On tap, poured deep amber with a moderate tan head. Roasted malt aroma that hints coconut and caramel. Thinner bodied with a taste of toasted malts, cream, nuts, and mild hops. Follows more towards a brown ale instead of a porter. Great drink though, for any season. geologyguy (1632) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Strong coffeeesque smell...bold coffee on front end...tad watery on the back...light hops and light medium malt AdamT (268) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 5, 2013
12oz bottle from Brewmasters. Dark amber hue with off-white mostly diminishing fizzy head. Virtually no lacing. Heavy malt & coffee on the nose. Moderate chocolate malt up front with a hint of coconut on the finish, mostly malt though. Fizzy carbonation on the palate. I thought this was pretty good! Draft - Toast, coconut and caramel malts. Clear copper with a decent white head. Nice toasted caramel, vanilla and a nice light sweet finish. Good. durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 4, 2012
I dunno, I guess I’m a sucker for a decent porter. I haven’t had anything of note from this brewery, but hell, I’d buy a sixer of this. Nose is sweet chocolate, a tad of roast, grain, and not a lot of coconut. Just a hint. Same for the taste. A bit of a metallic vibe sometimes, but otherwise easy and tasty. Light palate. Pours very dark brown with a creamy mocha head and light lacing.
